Our Desert Picnic

After living here 16 months, we finally made it into the Desert for a bit of an "adventure".  

We thought we would have a sunset picnic in the Desert.  We also tested out the Volvo 4WD capabilities - never part of the plan when we bought it ....but life needs a little excitement occasionally.  

After a few scary moments we are pleased to say we survived, the car survived and we left the desert unscathed and scorpion bite free.  Yay!  We had a good time, Eloise loved playing in the sand and we are looking forward to our next Desert adventure which we think may involve camping.  Now that will be an adventure!
