February's update

Well I have been a bit slack last month and not had any new postings so will get my act together in March.
Last month we were focused on sleep training our little Miss, and pretty much nothing else.  It has been very successful and the family is now getting a full nights sleep with no interruptions.  Makes a huge difference to the 3 to 4 interrupted hours a night we were getting before we started.  So apart from learning to sleep properly, we haven't been doing too much.  Duane has been very busy at work for the last 5 weeks and hadn't had a weekend off until yesterday, so that also made for not an exciting month.
We are still enjoying the weather in Dubai and have started to notice it heating up.  The A/C's even had a bit of a workout over the weekend.  This is quite scary given that the "hot" season is still a good 2 months away!  It has been amazing to see the change as we have within a week gone from Winter weather with us in Jumpers and Uggboots to Summer where the singlets are back out and we are at the beach again.
Speaking of the beach, we spent a lovely morning at the beach on Palm Jumeirah, which is the first island they have built in the shape of a palm tree.  It is really quite amazing and although has been on our doorstep since we arrived, we have never gone there.  It is still a major construction zone - like most places in Dubai - but it has certainly come a long way and there are plenty of people living there now - it is quite sought after real estate.
There isn't much else to write about but we hope you enjoy our latest pics.

Oh - not forgetting Valentine's Day and the lovely bunch of flowers Duane gave me.  They were gorgeous!
