Sharjah Animal Park

Duane has been trying to drag me to the Sharjah Animal Park all year and I have been resisting because, quite frankly, I thought it would be a big waste of time! While Mum & Dad were here, Duane finally convinced us all to take an adventure into Sharjah and see what the animal park was actually like. Surprisingly it was too bad. The best part was the "local" Arabic Animal display. This was really well set up but unfortunately we couldn't take any photos. Here we got to see lots of snakes, nocturnal animals (foxes, mice, rats etc), birds and frogs and spiders. We even got to see a Red Back Spider which had to be my all time favourite Arabic Animal!!! :-) I managed to take some pictures - but only of the "farm" part. This wasn't the best bit, particularly outside in the sun when it was 40 degrees - but Eloise liked seeing the animals, so that was the main thing. So all in all, our trip to Sharjah wasn't the waste of time we thought it would be (and quite often is!) and we had a good day.
Eloise with the geese, which as far as she was concerned were actually Ducks.
Trying to pat the goat
Look Ducks! (Her all time favourite animal)
A goat. Yes really!
Look Dad, there is a horse (another favourite animal)
